Bat House Kits, Club Pack of 6
Bat House Kits, Club Pack of 6
Foster a love of wildlife in children with these Coveside Bat House Kits. This set of 6 traditional, unassembled shelters offers a fantastic project for scouting groups, allowing kids to learn carpentry skills along with the benefits of bats. The precut pieces of pine assemble together easily with the included hardware, and form a single chamber house for up to 12 bats. A long and short front panel are designed for you to create a ventilation gap, preventing bats from overheating. Rough hewn wood and plastic screening on the home's interiors allow bats to easily enter and grip them, and a downward angle on each roof directs rain away from the cavities. A generous hanger within each hardware pack makes placement against a wall or tree simple, or use an adapter (not included) for pole mounting a few boxes. The set of 6 kits is great for your classroom or youth group, and the pine boards bolster the natural appeal. Support young builders and nature enthusiasts in your group by assembling these Bat House Kits with them. Assembly required. Made in the USA.
